Press Release - Joel Lorentzen President of Genesis Systems Group

Joel Lorentzen has been named president of Genesis Systems Group. As president of the largest integrator of robotic arc welding systems in North America, Lorentzen will oversee operations in Davenport and Detroit.

Lorentzen was most recently the President of Crestwood Capital Management, Inc. of Davenport, Iowa. Prior to Crestwood Capital Management, Joel held various management positions within Genesis Systems Group for 19 years. Joel graduated from Iowa State University in 1980 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Joel continued his education with an MBA from the University of Iowa in 1995. Joel maintains his registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa and is the named inventor on two patents in welding technology.

Richard Litt, founder of Genesis Systems Group will transition from President to Chairman of the Board, replacing Richard Matthes who will retire as Chairman, but will continue to serve as a member of the Board.
