Dual station custom cell  

Servo positioning provides accessibility to weld joints while taking advantage of gravity to gain the following benefits:

  • Produces better welds
  • Allows for higher deposition rates
  • Increased travel speeds
  • reduced cycle times
A dual station custom cell was designed to weld flues into both ends of the water heater tanks leak face. Touch sensing routines were used to find the flue weld joint.
