Empowering Your Workforce to Program Robotic Systems
Do you want your team to have the independence they need to create programs, jog or touch up programs? Genesis offers a number of training programs to ensure your own cell operators, technicians, engineers and programmers have the skills they need so you can create programs that meet changing needs.
Training is focused on the robots we use in our systems.
Certified Robotics Arc Welding (CRAW) focuses on:
- Welding safety
- AWS welding symbols and the application of welding symbols
- Welding processes including but not limited to GMAW, GMW-P, FCAW, GTAW
- Shielding gas and applications
- Implementing and understanding the relationship of amperage, voltage and travel speed along with torch angles
- Welding steel, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum along with a discussion on pre-heat and post-heat
- Setting up weave tables, touch sense tables, seam tracking and coordinated motion with a discussion of automatic voltage control and adaptive fill
- Weld defects and discontinuities
- Troubleshooting welds
- Predetermining practical weld site limits
- Non-destructive testing (NTD) with a discussion on LT, UT, MT, RT, and VT
- Destructive testing
Upon completion of this couse, students will be able to:
- Safely operate a robotic welding system
- Understand welding processes
- Manipulate welding parameters
- Have a basic understanding of metallurgy
- Have an understanding of welder set-up
- Have an overview of non-destructive testing
- Have an understanding of weld consumables
- Have an overview of select AWS specifications
