Automated Peripherals has provided the manufacturing industry with high quality cleaning stations since 1985. To further meet the automating needs in a fast-paced and growing industry of robotic welding. Automation Peripherals now offers a broader scope of products.

Torch Reamer

This self-contained pneumatic reamer model was designed specifically with the end-user in mind. A proximity sensor initiates the cleaning sequence when the nozzle is securely in position.

  • Simple Design
  • Pneumatic – connects to plant air
  • Easy to Install
  • Low maintenance

Wire Snip

The Automated Robotic Wire Snip is recommended for applications that require precise wire stick-out. The pneumatic wire snip is activated by robot torch movement, making it easy to install on any new or existing robotic system.

  • No I/O required to operate
  • Robot torch initiated process
  • Easy to install
  • Handles up to 1/16-inch solid wire

Torch Tender

The Torch Tender cleaning station removes weld spatter by “vibrating” the nozzle at an adjusted frequency. To promote maximum cleaning effectiveness, a built in anti-spatter mister unit delivers lubricant to the torch nozzle. Actuated entirely by robot movement, the Torch Tender is easily integrated into any robotic welding workcell.

  • Field Proven, patented product
  • Pneumatic – connects to plant air
  • Easy to Install
  • Low maintenance

Double Check

Weld torch alignment problems often go unnoticed until a part is already welded, resulting in misplaced welds that cause part quality problems. Double-Check verifies the position of the robot weld wire as often as you’d like. When an alignment error is detected, Double-Check can suspend automatic operation or notify the operator with an error message.

Robot and Torch Alignment

Robot and Torch alignment is an enhanced and yet simpler method of managing misalignment than the typical, more complicated alignment devices. The apparatus includes a pointed that can be connected to either the robot or the tool carried by the robot. Using a previously created program the robot or the tool with the pointer is moved to a test station adjacent to the sleeve and post, and the sleeve is moved upwardly over the pointer to test for proper alignment.

Quick Change Tool

AP’s unique Quick Change Tooling design, patent pending, is ideal for any industry that has a medium-to-high mix of parts and/or high change-over applications. It optimized machine utilization and throughput by reducing the associated down time when changing out tools.

  • Rapid tool change over
  • Reduces robot downtime during tooling changeover
  • Simple one-step process
  • Self-alignment system
  • Self engaging safety latch

Anti-Spatter Compound

AP-365 Anti-Spatter Compound has been specially formulated for use with AP cleaning stations. Using other anti-spatter compound may cause damage to the torch nozzle.
