We are currently looking for a qualified individuals for the following positions:

Process Engineer – At Genesis, the primary responsibilities of a Process Engineer include developing system concepts, creating project cost, cycle time estimates and writing the technical portion of proposals for our customers.  Individual will work closely with Project Managers, Tooling Engineers, and Business Development Managers to win business.  Proposal development will also require working closely with the Simulation Department and / or developing concepts using multiple software packages, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

The right individual will provide technical sales support during the sales process with some travel.  An Engineering Degree and experience as an Application Engineer are desirable.  Additional desirable qualities include a background in laser processing (welding/cutting/ablation) and/or experience in the Aerospace and Defense market. Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with group presentation skills required.

Controls Engineer – Responsibilities of the Controls Engineer include performing activities associated with the controls programming/standardization and startup of automated systems.  Individual will also be debugging the operation workcell and working with an Application Engineer to establish a fully functional machine.  Allen Bradley PLC and HMI knowledge is required.   Automotive background and robot integration preferred.   Excellent communication skills required as person will be interacting with both internal and external customers to understand their needs.  Travel required to various customer’s facilities.  Occasional last minute travel may occur.

Application Engineer –  The position will provide application engineering, start-up, and support for existing projects. Individual will be required to work on large, multi-machine programs and interface closely with customers, program and project managers. The position requires a two-year engineering degree or equivalent and minimum 3 years manufacturing and/or welding experience.  Individual should be familiar with manufacturing environment and have thorough understanding of tooling and machine controls.  Candidates should be strong in spacial reasoning.  Position requires extensive travel.

Service Engineer – Responsibilities of this position will include technical engineering and servicing of existing and future robotic projects. Background to include the following: robot programming capability (1 or more robot brands), industrial and PLC programming, troubleshooting, industrial machinery, mechanical and electrical trouble-shooting, welding processes and related hardware. Individual must be self-sufficient, resourceful and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in various stages of completion. Minimum five years’ experience in related work required. Position requires a high amount of travel.

Tooling Design Manager – At Genesis, the Tooling Design Manager is responsible for all aspects of work holding fixture design.  Individual will work with Engineering to concept fixtures that satisfy customer needs with robotic automation, utilizing sound design theory and practices.   Responsibilities will also include establishing design guidelines and standards that insure quality, robust design and enhanced functionally along with leveraging design-for-manufacture methods that reduce complexity and produce complete designs.
